Involved in youth hockey in the City of Cranston, R.I. for more than 50 years, David Bucci is the general manager of the Cranston Veterans Memorial twin rink facility.

He is responsible for all aspects of the facility’s day-to-day operations, including the challenging task of coordinating ice times for area youth and high school hockey programs.

Bucci brings with him the management expertise, playing experience and coaching skills needed to succeed in this position. But, what truly sets Bucci apart are the long-term relationships and vital connections he has built over the years with nearly everyone in the area’s hockey community.

A  Cranston native from a large, hockey-playing family, Bucci is a 1982 graduate of Cranston High School East where he was the school’s first three-time captain. Upon graduation, he moved on to New England College in Henniker, N.H., where he was a two-time captain. Today, Bucci runs the “Dave Bucci Spring and Summer Hockey Clinic” at the Cranston rink. Bucci resides in East Greenwich, R.I. with his wife and three children.

Jewell Augustine is a dedicated Figure Skating instructor with thirty tour years of experience teaching children and adults. She is skilled at teaching skating fundamentals to all ages and abilities. Her goal is simple, to help anyone interested to learn the fundamentals of the sport and begin a lifetime commitment to health and wellness.
